I do find it funny that lesbians are perceived as man-hating but gay men are not perceived as woman-hating, and in fact are often illogically shielded from accusations of misogyny simply by being gay

Also worth noting that it is normally us men who perpetuate that perception. Providing further evidence to support the notion that men know EXACTLY what our role has been in upholding this particular societal ill.
