I believe that my life has been doomed since I was born as I have always had such horrible luck, but I have managed to get this far, I swear I don’t know how, but I truly want to continue living. To complement my bad luck, I was born in Venezuela a country with a terrible economic situation that gets worse every single day, for the last 20 years.
I have seen so many successful fundraisers, for things like buying a cellphone, but I can’t even manage to reach people. I know helping is not mandatory, I understand if you don’t want or can’t donate.
But please, help me reach more people; this is literally a matter of life and death.
I don’t know what else to do. I don’t want to stay here any longer. Predictions say that for the second half of the year the situation will be so terrible that even if you have some money you won’t be able to buy anything because there will be NOTHING to buy. All those that don’t manage to leave will simply die of starvation, sickness or pretty much anything.
I just want to leave with my mother as soon as possible, I promise we will do it spending as little as possible. We are even planning on helping out a friend that is in a worse position than ours. He would be of great help in the travel. It is a 7 days long journey by bus from Venezuela to Peru. We have to go through Colombia, Ecuador and Peru to reach Lima (Peru’s Capital city. This way we would save as many as 3 times what is worth the travel by plane). Plus, we will have some money left to rent somewhere cheap when we arrive, do all the paperwork to stay legal in the country and survive while we find a job and get paid.
Living here in Venezuela, I swear it must be like living in North Korea with a bit of internet. The government does whatever they want; they up until this very moment are still stealing all the money this country generates. They deny that there is a crisis. They won’t leave humanitarian aid to arrive. And they will NEVER leave the power willingly. EVEN if someone overthrows the government it will take as much as 50 years or even more for this mess to be somewhat fixed.
I do not have the time to wait. Nobody has it and that is why people are fleeing in mass. But I do not have the resources. At any moment, the government could block all the ways of getting out.
Please help me, just by getting out of here, I can try to make a life or my own. I will have the chance, the first ever chance of just living and not surviving one day more.
Believe me when I say that just 1$ will be of great help, or just sharing my fundraiser so more people will see it.
It sadly has a time limit, Gofundme acquired Youcaring and obviously Venezuela is not in the countries supported by Gofundme and I do not have a bank account to open a fundraiser there. So, I only have 33 days left with this fundraiser before it gets taken down.
