There’s a Noam Chomsky theory that something will only be called terrorism (in american media) if it goes against the american governments interests. Stuff like what they do and their specific beliefs or background are secondary to that.

So if someone is doing terroristy things and it’s not getting called ‘terrorism’ in the press, it’s because it lines up with the government’s status quo 🙂
