art is always going to go through a cycle of censorship (e.g. antis) and liberation (e.g. ao3) every decade or so, but what’s interesting is because of the advent of the internet, you can never really fully censor anything… but it’s also inevitable that you’re going to see people get Mad In Real Time. 

the current cycle of ✨ puuuuuuuuuurity politics ✨ is par for the course, but i’m wondering what the implications of the current internet accessibility standards is going to do to the cycle itself. the internet is so young but it’s already a game changer with so many things and how it shapes the creative landscape of future generations is going to be… interesting to say the least.
