Proposed Quintessential Romcom Fanfic Plotline:

Two roommates who work in a coffee shop have to fake dating for the sake of one getting an inheritance or some damn thing, they need to go abroad together, and end up having to share a room with only one bed. The place where they’re staying suffer from critical thermostat failure, so they must also huddle together for warmth.

They bang.

There is a critical misunderstanding/miscommunication and both of them thinks that the other person only wanted that to be a one time deal.

After some mutual pining, realizing they are in love, and overcoming the misunderstanding, they comfort one another’s hurts and bang again.

Then they live happily ever after.
