JEFF SESSIONS JUST QUIT HOLGYY FUCK

FOR REAL?!???

FOR REALSIES

I don’t even smoke and I want a fuckin cigarette today.

Just like a candy one.

Is this good or scary?

Given that Jeff Sessions is a bag of racism and sexism vaguely squished into the form of a man, it’s a very good thing.

Whittaker, who thinks Mueller should go away, now has the power to fire Mueller and has oversight in the investigation he already thought was going too far back in 2017.

Sessions going away may be good generally speaking, but it allowed for a replacement that could make the whole Russia interference investigation and the obstruction of justice stuff disappear for Trump.

Not that good at all.

Yeah guys this is super not good.

@systlin please reblog this correction. It’s extremely important that people know this. Democrats and people who care about reality have probably forgotten about this and are less vigilant directly after the election, which is why that orange buffoon waited until now.

Again:

I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT THIS IS INCREDIBLY BAD NEWS. SO RAISE THE ALARM.

If Whittaker gets his way, you can forget about a functional justice department. Or a Russian investigation. MUELLER’S ENTIRE INVESTIGATION IS IN IMMEDIATE DANGER. THE FBI INVESTIGATION FOLLOWING IT IS IN IMMEDIATE DANGER.

RED ALERT.

It’s not quite that dire.

The Democrats now hold the house, and can and will be scrutinizing the AG specifically to protect Mueller and ensure that nothing is buried or squashed. They can subpoena information if needed and hold public hearings on whatever is found. IF the new AG tries to silence Mueller, the House now has the power to put Whittaker through the wringer if he tries any fuckshit, and you can be damn sure that they will do just that.

Even republicans have said that they will be pissed if Trump & Co try to go after Mueller.

There’s also Rosenstein. For now.
