DA really needs to let up on the “Elves are just as bad” they aren’t pulling it off at all. Something like that works in a franchise like The Elder Scrolls because Elven cultures there are diverse and still have power in their own domains, even when they face racism in human territories, oppression is not their default state. Elves in DA do not have this dynamic. DA’s modern elves are universally subjugated and scattered so holding them to the transgressions of their former empires doesn’t work.
